GENERAL INFORMATION
CNPC No. 9AM pour point depressant (referred to as PPD) is designed to reduce the pour point and viscosity of crude oils during the delivery in pipelines. This product can be described as EVA polymer in organic solvent.
Application of CNPC No. 9AM will reduce problems associated with pipeline transport due to high pour point and viscosity of the crude oil being carried, making pipeline transport possible or more economical.

Color: Clear amber or brown
Odor: Sweet-scented
Melting point: 19~22℃
Flash-point (closed cup): 50~56℃
Density: @20℃ 0.8900~0.9200 g/ml
Viscosity: @20℃ <250 mPa.s
Solubility: Immiscible in water.Miscible with most organic solvents
STORAGE AND HANDLING
CNPC No. 9AM will be stable and keep its potency for three years if stored in ventilated, dry place within the temperature range of -10℃ ~ +50℃ in the tightly sealed container.
Standard pumps and mild steel containers can be used for injection. Note the pump seal must be resistant to aromatic solvents.
